Send your friends some cards! I made some free printables for you! eef and cat are decorating a Christmas tree. Don’t they look thrilled?
To print the cards:
Yeah, it’s really easy! And it’s free! Well, free except for the cost of ink. But you know.

Let me know if you use these cards, I would love a shot of them in action!

(re-post)
I don’t go to work anymore. I work from home (trying to start my own business). But I still get angry when I don’t get coffee when I want.

I know I’ve sucked at getting new comics made recently. Sorry.

(updated version of this comic)

This really happened one morning. Anthony was leaving for work, and I always open the door for him (since his hands are full of bike) and one morning a huge spider had made a giant web over our door! I screamed and slammed the door shut. It was early and I hadn’t had my coffee and I just couldn’t deal with it.
But, Anthony had to leave for work, and he is terrified of spiders, so it was up to me. I am not normally scared of them, but like I said: early, no coffee. I basically move like a zombie in the mornings and have very poor motor skills. Also my eyes don’t stay open. And this sucker was HUGE. It was going to be a challenge.
I couldn’t just grab him by the web and move him, since it wasn’t a string of web, it was a full feckin’ web over our door. I tried to vacuum him. He CRAWLED BACK OUT of the hose. I think I screamed some more and probably our neighbors thought I was being murdered.
Meanwhile, Anthony was hiding.
I finally sucked Mr. Spider into the vacuum where he crawled around for a long time. I could have let him go… No, not really. I was too scared. He was HUGE. I thought for a minute we’d been transported to Australia (and yes, that’s a legspan of 10-12 inches, this guy was maybe 2.5 inches and traumatizing enough). But no, it was just attack of the giant spider. After vacuuming the whole house Mr. Spider didn’t walk around anymore inside the vacuum and I felt like I might survive the rest of the day.
Thank god it wasn’t a silverfish/centipede.
By Erin aka "eef", on September 22nd, 2011 A few people have asked me how I do things, or where I get things printed. I don’t mind sharing my resources with you! I don’t really do anything fancy, but if you have any questions about something not listed here, please feel free to leave me a comment!
What paper do you use?
Pretty much anything and everything. Cheap sketch paper from the grocery store, cartooning paper, printer paper, etc. I’d say most of my drawings were done on Strathmore sketch paper though.
What pen do you use?
Typically a Pilot V Razor Point in black. Sometimes an Ultra Fine Tip Sharpie.
What computer program do you use?
I use GIMP. It’s free and does all the basic stuff.
Where do you get your fonts?
I get most of my fonts at dafont.com. I only use ones that are free for both personal and commercial purposes. I did create my own font in my handwriting so that I can sign my artwork digitally. I don’t remember which website I used, but there are several if you do a Google search.
Where do you get ___ printed?
I use a bunch of different printing resources. Here’s a photo-filled breakdown.

Recycled postcards and business cards – Sonic Print

Recycled mini note cards – Moo

Buttons, magnets, and pocket mirrors – Button Arcade

Prints – Snapfish

Mousepads, t-shirts, stickers, etc. – Zazzle
Those are all of the resource questions I think I’ve been asked. If you have any others, ask away!
