WIP Wednesday – Friendship Bracelets

Seems like everyone is making friendship bracelets lately. It’s a good, easy, summer craft. I used to make really complicated ones when I was younger, but seem to have forgotten all but the basics at this point. I am thinking about making a few and putting them as freebies with orders, but this week is awfully busy at work and by the time I get home I don’t feel like doing anything. I will make an effort to make at least a few more though!

I made soooo many of these last year, I am burned out on them. They are so fun and colorful! I just made one with beads… I will have to make MORE!

I never knew how to make these properly, but maybe I’ll try again. They are cute and I could see using them for different things. Wouldn’t woven strips like that be cute as a bag handle or a belt?

they would be! i’ve actually made belts this way before, but i used yarn. you could also use something like hemp!
